went to a fave shopping haunt today and got these:

mink pink white safar linen dress and jay jay summer polkadot dress from thrift stores - a total of $12!

and then we went to this random make up place and i got a mascara from a really obsecure brand.  i love the packaging though, and the mascara tube feels heavy in my hand (which has got nothing to do with how the product will perform, but...). it's made in china, although they're trying to pass it off as a japanese brand. even the english description on the box is really poor. at least it's cheap - only $6!

i received my body butter haul from crater lake company a few weeks ago. i love their body butters so much. they are full of good moisturising stuff and smells so good. i ordered their Duet Body Butter, Flutter Butter, Comforting Creme and my favourite of all, Whipped Soy Butter (so dense and delicious!). actually the Duet Body Butter is fast becoming my favourite too. ah heck, i love them all.

i got them whilst clc was having a sale for their discontinued scents, so i got:

british royal tea - totally my comfort scent, yum!

white lotus and peach tea

violet creme puffs

tahi-tea - very fruity tea! so tropical

gilded lily - an understated floral

princess vagnilia - delicious concoction of vanilla goodness

i highly recommend them, sharonn, the owner is the sweetest lady. she included a handwritten birthday card for me and free samples including their perfumes and a small bottle of 2in1 shampoo.

the only thing i missed is the little pink ribbon that sharonn used to tie around these tubs. these ribbons add such a sweet girly stuff...

my besame haul is finally here!

i'm not sure what happened, i called them on 14 apr to check on the status of the shipment since i didn't get tracking notice at all! plus, they didn't respond to my email so i had to call 'em up. not too impressed with their customer service.

but nevertheless, i was informed that my order was shipped on 12 apr, but i got it today! so weird how it arrived so fast, right? but i think it was intercepted by customs coz the wrapping looked a bit dodgy when it got to me.

depite all that, everything IS truly gorgeous.. and TINY! i haven't tried any of them except my Red Velvet Enchanting Lipstick. I took some pics of me

i also ordered my most favouritest perfume online since i can't find it in shops here or even duty free shops in asia! it's been discontinued so i need to stock up. now i got 4 of these babies, which should set me back about 4 years or so.. haha..

remember i ordered some besame goods a week ago?
i haven't heard anything from them! i read on their website apparently i should get a tracking email when my products have been shipped - but nope... no email 7+ days now.
i've emailed them today so let's see what they come back with.

i'm trying to be patient and not get snippy, but these few days i find i'm so easily irritated!

i want my besame NOW! no make that YESTERDAY!!

i read about Besame's discounts at lilita's and Blogdorf Goodman's blogs - and of course i caved.

i have been wanting to order their products for sometime now, but they were pretty expensive (not to mention the shipping costs too!). so this is a good excuse for me to purchase me some pretty make up! don't they look just gorgeous? i hope they get to mama safely...

i am torn...

on one hand i know i've spent quite a bit of money lately on stuff ie. clothes (jackets and dresses) and make up (bb cream and mascara).

but, on the other, i am wanting some quick retail therapy so make myself feel better - my mom and sister just left this morning for their holiday for a month!!! i felt abandoned, neglected and sad...

so i've been eye-ing LUSH's solid perfumes, but the thing is, LUSH shops are always heavily fragranced from the luscious fragrant goodies they carry instore - so i can't really smell those perfumes properly! darn it! but so far, it's either Fever, Honey I Washed the Kids or Silky Underwear.

hm... decisions.. decisions...

i also found out today that my newly purchased Target jacket has been reduced by $20!!! and i can't even do the "return and buy again" routine because i've lost my receipt. arrghhh.. i feel so ripped-off! may be i shouldn't even buy those LUSH perfumes at all.

i posted a while back about my love for shopping at goodwill/op-shops, we call them in the land down under.

anyhoos, my parent and i all went to blacktown again last saturday and it was just bargains galore. had my budget not been restrictive, i'm sure i could easily spent a few hundred bucks there. here's what i got:

• 100% french rabbit fur jacket $30 (can you believe? now this post won't be about animal cruelty and so on. but it is so lovely... doesn't smell like moth balls, super soft and silky, everything in good condition. awesome!)
• a silvery serving tray for church $1
• big night out book $1
• playboy bikini - brand new $15
• 2 x playboy beach shorts $55

this streetwear store was closing down and everything was half price! so i bought some beachwear for my trip to hawaii. the bikinis are really adorable, but most sizes are 10+ though.
